BE Receives Multiple Transmitter Orders at NAB2007
Quincy, IL - May 2, 2007 - Broadcast Electronics (BE) returned from the NAB convention with a number of transmitter sales, including some from Univision and Regent Communications.
Regent Communications signed orders for BE transmitters for its Flint, MI, and Lafayette, LA, stations while at the NAB convention. Univision, the country's leading Spanish-language media company, also placed orders during the show for two BE HD Radio transmitters and one BE backup transmitter for its Phoenix stations.
The Univision order covers transmitters for KHOT-FM and its booster frequency in Phoenix. Univision has previously purchased BE transmitters for stations in Phoenix, Dallas, Chicago, Houston, San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, San Antonio, Fresno, Miami and New York.
Regent Communications ordered a BE FMI 201 solid-state HD Radio transmitter, a BE FMI 21T tube HD Radio transmitter and a BE FMI 25T tube transmitter for HD Radio transmission.
