Broadcasters Foundation of America Elects Three VPs
New York, NY- Aug 5, 2010 - The Broadcasters Foundation of America elected three vice presidents: Mark Gray, president of Katz Radio Group; Jeff Haley, president and chief executive officer of the Radio Advertising Bureau; and Steve Lanzano, president of the Television Bureau of Advertising.
Gray leads Katz Media Group's radio representation company, Katz Radio Group. Representing nearly 4,000 radio stations and various digital platforms, he oversees seven divisions, including Katz Radio, Christal Radio, Eastman Radio, Univision Radio, CBS/Entercom Radio, Katz Group Sales and Katz 360 Digital Sales in offices around the country. Gray began his career at Katz as an account executive in New York in 1988. He was promoted to his current position in 2006.
Haley directs the Radio Advertising Bureau's (RAB) efforts to lead and participate in educational, research, sales and advocacy programs that promote and advance radio as an advertising medium. He is the former vice president of global marketing for Time Warner. Haley was also a member of the launch team for Entertainment Weekly.
Lanzano joined the Television Bureau of Advertising (TVB) as president earlier this year. In this role, he leads efforts to promote local television's benefits and advantages for advertisers and agencies. Lanzano was most recently the chief operating officer of media agency, MPG. He previously worked at WPP Group's Mediaedge:cia where he became CEO, North America.
The three vice president positions were newly created this year. The positions are intended to extend the Foundation's reach and influence within the broadcasting industry, while also adding to its current depth and breadth of experience. Each officer was nominated and voted upon by the board of directors.
