Brazilian Broadcasting Conference 2011 Starts This Week
Sao Paulo, Brazil - Aug 22 - The 24th Congress of SET (Brazilian Society of Engineering and Television) started today. More than 180 lectures on topics such as digital cinema, interactivity, new digital media, content production, radio and TV will occur over the three-day event.
Michel R. Penneroux, DRM Commercial Committee Chairman, is presenting a paper entitled "DRM - Digital Radio in Europe." In this lecture he will present the case for DRM in Europe; the features that DRM offers to the listener, and the critical success factors. He will also talk about single-frequency networks techniques for AM and FM and the status of the commercial development of DRM.
