Cleveland, OH, and Reston, VA - Jul 26, 2010 - Bird Technologies Group (BTG) has acquired X-Com Systems of Reston Virginia. X-Com is a manufacturer of RF test equipment, deployable RF signal sources and military digital communications equipment, primarily sold to the U.S. Department of Defense and other government agencies.

David Erisman, CEO and founder of X-Com, says joining forces with BTG will allow X-Com to penetrate new markets more aggressively than if it were to continue as a separate company.

BTG will continue to operate in its Solon, OH, headquarters, and X-Com will remain in its facilities in Reston, VA.
