Beasley Adds Quu Advertiser Experience to Stations
Naples, FL, and Seattle - Sep 12, 2011 - Quu is unveiling technology that enables radio advertisers to extend their reach - visually - to radio listeners that have RDS and/or HD Radio-equipped radios. Quu is showing the technology at the 2011 Radio Show this week.
Developed in collaboration with Jump2Go, the technology allows listeners to view cover art on compatible HD Radio-equipped radios while listening to a song, and listeners will be able to see advertiser images and messages. Messages will appear on RDS-equipped radios as well. For this purpose, Quu has created a content management system that gives radio stations the flexibility of rotating promos during music, jock talk or ad time, as they see fit.
Beasley Broadcast Group will be the first radio company to integrate the Advertiser Experience. In June 2011 Beasley began the process of placing Quu's suite of interactive content and technology solutions on Beasley's radio stations. Additionally, the company became a minority investor in Quu.
