BBC Fires up More DAB Transmitters
London - Nov 28, 2011 - The BBC has announced the startup of two more DAB multiplex transmitters. The Camlough transmitter will provide coverage to 60,000 people in Newry, Northern Ireland, and the surrounding areas. The Ben Gullipen transmitter will add coverage for 11,500 people in Callander and Dunblane, in Scotland, while improving the coverage for upwards of 200,000 people in the same area.
