AWRT Announces 2010 Board of Directors
McLean, VA - March 5, 2010 - American Women in Radio and Television (AWRT) has announced its 2010 national board of directors. The 2010 AWRT board was installed in conjunction with the AWRT Women's Media Forum. Sylvia Strobel, a partner with Lehmann Strobel in Hershey, PA, will serve as the national chair.
Serving as vice chair of AWRT is Valerie Blackburn, market controller, CBS Radio, Los Angeles, CA. The treasurer is Elizabeth Hammond, vice president and general counsel, Nexstar Broadcasting Group, Dallas, TX; and the treasurer-elect is Kristen Welch, CFO, Discovery Channel, Silver Spring, MD.
