New Automaker with Factory-installed HD Radios: Mini
Woodcliff Lake, NJ - Jun 7, 2007 - Mini USA is now offering a factory-installed digital HD Radio receiver as an option in the 2007 Mini Cooper and Cooper S hardtops, produced from June 2007. Mini joins its sister brand, BMW, to be the second automotive brand to offer HD Radio technology to its customers.
The HD Radio receiver can be ordered as a stand-alone option for an MSRP of $500 or as part of Mini's Audio Package, which also includes an upgraded Hi-fi radio and Sirius Satellite Radio with a lifetime subscription that stays with the car from owner to owner. That package retails for $1,400
