Australian Broadcasters Continue to Invest in DAB+

Perth, Australia - Sep 2, 2013 - Australian Broadcaster Southern Cross Austereo continues to invest in the DAB+ system around Australia as its brand Triple M was added to the DAB+ multiplex in Perth.

Listening figures show that more than 12 percent of radio listening each week in the five Australian state capitals (Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth) is via a DAB+ device. Time spent listening (TSL) to radio via a DAB+ digital radio device is more than double that of TSL to radio via the Internet, according to
