Audemat Celebrates 30 Years in Broadcast
Bordeaux-Merignac, France – Apr 20, 2010 - Audemat, the founding company within the WorldCast Systems group, celebrates 30 years in broadcast this year. Founded in 1980 in Bordeaux, France, Audemat has grown as a broadcast equipment manufacturer by developing its line of signal monitoring products, RBDS encoders and broadcast facility management tools. Following the acquisition of the transmitter manufacturer Ecreso in 2006 and APT Codecs in 2009, the group changed its name to WorldCast Systems.
Group President Bruno Rost states, "Together we can boast more than 100 years experience of supplying professional systems to radio and TV broadcasters, stations, telecommunication operators and regulation authorities." The company notes that it has many thousands of broadcast products deployed worldwide including more than 14,000 RDS encoders and many more audio codecs, signal monitors, audio processors, transmitters and broadcast facility management solutions.
