IEEE Broadcast Technology Society Set for 2011 Fall Symposium
Washington, DC - Aug 25, 2011 - The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers' (IEEE) Broadcast Technology Society has completed plans for the 61st Annual IEEE Broadcast Symposium, to be held Oct. 19-21 at the Westin Alexandria Hotel in Alexandria, VA. The conference features presentations from leaders within the broadcast industry and is designed to provide the latest information on such timely matters as mobile DTV, broadcasting facility infrastructure, digital broadcasting, single frequency networks, spectrum issues and more.
The three-day event will feature more than two dozen technical presentations, including two special half-day tutorial sessions on Oct. 19 highlighting recent developments in the areas of connected TV technology and IBOC digital radio broadcasting.
The Symposium also offers opportunities for networking with peers at three luncheon events and two evening receptions. Luncheon keynote speakers include John Luff, media technology consultant, and Peter Doyle, FCC audio division chief.
