Brian Cooley to Keynote NAB Show Radio Luncheon
Washington - Jan 10, 2011 - CNET's senior commentator Brian Cooley will deliver a keynote address at the NAB Show Radio Luncheon on April 12 in Las Vegas. His presentation will include insights into new technologies and the opportunities they present to the radio business.
Cooley joined CNET in 1995, after 12 years of morning radio in L.A. and San Francisco. Upon joining CNET he immediately launched CNET Radio Online, which led to the nation's first two all-tech format radio stations in San Francisco and Boston. A frequent guest on CNN, CNBC, CBS News, ABC News, MSNBC, as well as a long list of major-market TV and radio stations, Cooley's commentary often combines the perspectives of consumers, innovators and the financial markets to produce stories that audiences find both entertaining and informative. Cooley's focus on technology includes annual reviews of the 100 latest high tech cars and video coverage of the major world auto shows. Additionally, Cooley is known for his "Tips for Digital Living" series seen on TV screens at Costco, Wal-Mart, Sam's Club and other retailers.
The NAB Show Radio Luncheon will include the annual presentation of the NAB Crystal Radio Awards, which honor local radio stations for community service. Award-winning Nashville radio personality Gerry House will also be inducted into the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame.
