Telos Z/IP One Adds Luci Live Compatibility
Cleveland - Apr 8, 2013 - Telos Systems, the manufacturer of the Z/IP One IP codec, has teamed with the Luci Live wideband audio app to enable broadcast-quality IP remote broadcasts from popular smartphones. Luci Live is a mobile remote app to provide live, low latency remotes to a Z/IP One at the studio. Luci Live works over Wi-fi, 3G and 4G.
Z/IP One connections to the Luci Live and forthcoming Luci Live Lite apps are supported in Z/IP One software v1.7.0, a free upgrade scheduled for release during April 2013. Also included is an implementation of Symmetric RTP connectivity, which further simplifies IP removes by facilitating a high-quality IFB feed from the studio back to the field using the same firewall port used for the initial connection.
