Oct 26, 2012 - The Internet Radio Fairness Coalition was formed by Internet radio services, broadcast radio companies and groups concerned about the future of the Internet radio industry to advocate for legislation that would establish an equitable royalty rate setting standard for Internet radio. The Coalition supports the Internet Radio Fairness Act of 2012, legislation calling for all digital music services to be judged by the same rate-setting standard.

Current Coalition members include:
Clear Channel Media and Entertainment
Consumer Electronic Association
Digitally Imported
Digital Media Association (DiMA)
Engine Advocacy
National Religious Broadcasters Music License Committee
Radio Paradise
Salem Communications
Small Webcaster Alliance
977 Music

Clear Channel has already negotiated direct licenses with Big Machine Label Group and Glassnote Entertainment. Entercom has also struck a direct deal with Big Machine.
