Inovonics Ties RDS to Sage Endec
Santa Cruz, CA - Sep 28, 2010 - Sage Endec users can now enable EAS messages into their Inovonics RDS system. The Inovonics model 730 RDS encoder now supports the Sage Digital Endec, so when an EAS or Common Alerting Protocol message is sent it is automatically forwarded to all RDS receivers in the stations' network.
These messages can override other RDS messages for a defined period of time.
The Inovonics 730 is now shipping with updated firmware, which includes this feature and if you already own one, a firmware update is available as a free download at www.inovon.com.
