Clear Channel, Nissan Partner to Bring iHeart Radio to Select 2014 Models
New York - Sep 11, 2013 - Beginning in the fall 2013, iHeartRadio, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment's digital radio service, will be available in select Nissan vehicles equipped with NissanConnect, an in-vehicle global smartphone integration platform for Android and iPhone operating systems. Once a user connects his compatible smartphone with the NissanConnect app, a driver can control and personalize his iHeartRadio listening experience directly through the dashboard or via steering wheel controls.
The iHeartRadio for Auto app (iHeartAuto) is an application that offers a simple, safety-minded user-interface designed to provide access to more than 1,500 live radio stations from the dashboard. The iHeartRadio for Auto app also allows users to create custom stations and provides in-dash access to a variety of other iHeartRadio features including its thumbs up/thumbs down, station scan and discovery tuner features.
